"Lucky," by Tammy Howell

I am the caregiver of my father. He is 92 years old and will be 93 in June. His hobby, if you can call it that, is scratching Missouri lottery scratch offs. In 2021, he won 5000.00 dollars on one of the cards. He was a very happy lucky old man.

That was the biggest win he has gotten since playing the game. He enjoys sitting in his wheelchair. Scratching his cards and watching the St Louis Cardinal play baseball or watching football.

Depending on the season, I would love if he won a big one again, but we all know with playing those lottery games, it's the luck of the draw. In this case, the luck of the scratch. LOL
